Privacy policy
QRPrint temporarily processes files to deliver them to the recipient you choose. This policy covers the service; a print shop’s downloaded copies are handled separately by that shop.

Data and purposes
We handle file contents, names, types, sizes, link identifiers and expiry times to provide transfers. Shop names, logins, password hashes and session/device details support accounts and security. Request data, including IP addresses, supports abuse prevention. Files are not sold or used by QRPrint for advertising or unrelated purposes. Processing supports the requested service, security and applicable legal duties; it is not blanket consent for other uses. Account emails are used for confirmation and password recovery through an email provider. Secrets are stored as hashes; failed-attempt counters enforce 24-hour blocks and are cleaned periodically.
Recipients and infrastructure
Files are handled by QRPrint and technical infrastructure providers needed to operate it, and delivered to the recipient you choose. Providers may process data outside your country under their own terms; do not upload files for which this is unsuitable. Disclosure may also be required by law. Print shops independently handle their downloaded copies; ask them about local storage and deletion. QRPrint does not sell data or disclose it to unrelated recipients for their marketing.
Account data, cookies and retention
File expiry does not delete a shop account. Account data remains for operating the account until an applicable deletion request is fulfilled, subject to legal requirements. Sessions expire after 90 days; expired records are cleaned periodically. Essential cookies manage access; local browser storage keeps the language choice and per-tab owner controls. Clear browser storage to remove those local settings. Request-limit counters are temporary; infrastructure diagnostics and backups follow their operators’ retention rules.
Website analytics
Public pages use Google Analytics to measure visits and traffic sources. Google may process usage and device data and analytics cookies under its policies. Analytics is not loaded on file-sharing, shop-account or email-verification pages. QRPrint does not send file contents, filenames, passwords or private QR links to Analytics.
Who can download the documents
Anyone with an ordinary link can access the files unless a password is set. Share that password separately. Files sent through a shop’s QR are available only to that shop’s signed-in account. QRPrint operators and necessary infrastructure providers may technically access data; access protection is not end-to-end encryption.
Where files are stored
Files pass through the QRPrint server. Do not upload documents if this storage method is unsuitable for them.
When access ends
Choose 1, 2 or 24 hours, starting after all files are saved. The server blocks downloads when the link expires. You can close it earlier on the QR creation screen; the owner control is retained in the current browser tab. For print shops: Files are available for 30 minutes.
When data is deleted
Cleanup runs every minute. After the link expires or is closed, the service requests deletion of messages, then removes metadata. Failed requests are retried. Copies already downloaded by recipients cannot be removed. Deletion from providers’ internal systems or backups follows their retention rules; immediate removal from every copy is not guaranteed.
File checks
The service checks allowed extensions and format signatures, but does not scan for viruses. Download only from trusted sources. Do not use this service to store the only copy of a file.
Support and data requests
For service issues or requests to access, correct or delete your data, contact support. We may need to verify ownership. Applicable law may grant additional rights, including restrictions, objections and complaints to a supervisory authority. Contact the print shop directly about its copies and printing disputes.
